However, there have yet to be any [alternate browser engines](https://www.macobserver.com/news/15-months-later-iphone-users-still-cant-choose-a-real-browser/) available that I could find.
While Safari does offer good [privacy features](https://webkit.org/blog/15697/private-browsing-2-0/), it's lacking some important security protections that other browsers have like [site isolation](https://docs.webkit.org/Deep%20Dive/SiteIsolation.html#finding-what-needs-to-be-done), which they are currently working on implementing but it will be some time before it's done.
